SWARMTH
This was a two day project. We listened to two songs, and were asked to invent a band that might’ve created the music. Name it, and brand it, and bring in a cover.
When I listened to one of the songs, I picked up on a feeling of invasion. A sort of swarming invasion. And there is a calm and sad trumpet that seems to be accepting this swarm. So I let this instraments’ interaction aid me in coming up with the name: swarmth.
I play off the idea of bees by making stripes on the transparent cover, and I create the word swarmth with a great number of small bees in a swarm. They are printed with white ink, and when the cd is closed, you are able to read “swarmth” and you can see the cd inside through the stripes.
